High Temperature Assembly Paste is a special paste containing solid lubricant used for high pressure casting of non-ferrous metals.
It allows easy release from the mold even at high temperatures.
It prevents metal from sticking to the mold.
It has a positive effect on the separation of liquid mold release agent from the inner parts. Fluid mold release agents may sometimes not be sufficient to separate molten metal from the mold surface. Therefore, in such cases, hot molds and the inside of the mold may need extra lubrication.
High Temperature Assembly Paste should not be stored at temperatures above 50 °C. It must be protected against freezing. If it is stored at low temperatures, it should be allowed to warm up to room temperature before use.
